Q: What is the currency on your website?
A: All prices are listed in USD.
Q: What metal are your tunnels?
A: All of my tunnels are 316L stainless steel.
-Gold options are PVD ion plated with genuine 18k gold.
-Black are electroplated with titanium.
-"Silver" are 100% stainless steel.
Hypoallergenic, low nickel content* (*all stainless steel does contain some nickel, so please be advised if you have a nickel allergy, these earrings are not for you), all plating is 100% nickel free. Safe for most sensitive ears, but not for those with intense nickel allergies.
Q: Are your earrings waterproof?
A: All the tunnels themselves are waterproof and can be washed with soap and water. However, not all the charms and dangles will be waterproof, so please take off before showering or swimming to preserve the quality of your earrings long term.
Be careful to only wash the tunnel, and keep the dangly parts of your earring dry. You can wipe them down with a dry cloth to polish them and keep them shining bright as new.
Q: I only have one stretched ear. Can I buy just one earring?
A: Yes, you have 2 options.
1) I can make you a matched pair with one tunnel, and one regular earring. Just specify in your order notes, for example, "one 00g, one huggie hoop" or "one 12mm teardrop, one regular hook." I can also make any earring with a clip on, if your ear is not pierced.
or 2) Use code "SINGLEEARRING" for 50% off and you will receive one single earring instead of pairs.
Q: What material are the regular earring hooks / huggie hoops?
A: The regular earring hooks are all stainless steel. Black are stainless steel. Gold are gold plated stainless steel.
Silver huggie hoops are silver plated brass.
Gold huggie hoops are gold plated brass.
Black huggie hoops are stainless steel.
Q: Can you make for regular ears?
A: Yes! Every product has a full size list, including regular earring hooks or huggie hoops for any design. If you have a special request, like 14k gold filled or sterling silver hooks, or a larger hoop for your earrings, just send me an email through my Contact page. I'm happy to accommodate different needs as long as I'm able to. :)
Q: Double or Single flared?
A: My original tunnels are double flared, internally threaded screw-backs. So you can put them in your ears like a single flare, and then screw in the back, so they become double flared and stay in place.
Teardrop shaped tunnels are all double flared and do not unscrew.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Once you place your order, I will begin working on your earrings right away. Please allow me 2-14 days to hand assemble your earrings. Usually I have it done within a few days but sometimes it takes a little longer. Thank you for being patient for your handmade items. :)
**Subject to change when order volume is unusually high. This will be announced on the top of my website when wait times are longer than usual.**
Once made and shipped, estimated shipping time in the US: 2-5 business days. Internationally: 1-4 weeks. Usually ~2 weeks.
Q: Do you ship Internationally?
A: Yes! I will ship anywhere in the world as long as your address is valid and deliverable. I use USPS First Class International and the average estimated delivery time is 6-12 days. Can be up to 4 weeks in some countries. Feel free to email me for a specific shipping inquiry via my Contact Page.
Buyer is responsible for any applicable customs import fees/duties upon delivery.
Q: Can I track the shipment of my order?
A: Yes. You will receive an email with your tracking information as soon as your order has been made. If it's been more than 14 days and you have not received a shipping email, please contact me. This should not happen; there might be an issue with your email, address, order, etc.
Q: How to care for my tunnels?
A: You should wipe your tunnels (just the part that goes in your ear) clean with alcohol before and after each use. I like to use cotton balls or q-tips, but alcohol wipes are also fine. If your ears are sensitive to this, you can also use antibacterial soap and water, but be sure to only wash the tunnel. Keep any charms dry as best as possible. This will keep them bright and beautiful as new for as long as possible.
-A drop of vitamin e (or your choice of) oil feels nice to put on your lobes before putting in your jewelry. This will reduce the chance of any irritation happening for people with sensitive ears.
-Try your best to only handle your jewelry by the tunnel.
-Avoid touching the charms and dangles if you can.
-Wipe down your entire earrings with a clean, dry cloth to keep fingerprints/oil off of them as needed. This will keep them shining as bright as new.
NEVER, ever, force a tunnel into your ear that does not slide in easily with a little oil. This can cause irritation, pain, and damage to your ear and even cause permanent scarring.
ALWAYS be gentle with your ears. Remove your earrings right away if you experience any discomfort.
